I'm goign to go all nerd for a second, but this made me think of the book I am reading for honors.  It talks about how you have to be more than left-brained you have to be whole-brained to succeed because you need to be able to design as well.  And they mentioned how much people spend on phone cases and accessories and how it's gone from just needing to perform to now people buy a phone for its design, so yeah it's an interesting book...haha. Cool phone cases by the way. lol

It's not easy making a name for yourself.

I am starting to really feel that summer is running out.  So I am trying desperately to make actual plans with people now.  It's kind of sad to think that when I hangout with them it's going to be the last time I see them in a long time :/  And I miss my family... I'm not sure how I'm going to handle being 4 hours away from them, but you can't live at home forever.  So I think staying in Michigan for most of the summer was a good idea because it has helped me become a little more independent.  If I hadn't I'd be a wreck the first few weeks of college, haha.

It was the very first time that I lost my mind for a week.

Just found out you can look at who is in your classes... and I was very pleased to see I know a few people in all of my classes!  I am sooo excited for college, gonna be the best time of my life.  And now I have to run...blahh, the things I do to be a college athlete. haha.

I said I'll never let you fall and I always meant it.

I tried tumblr for awhile because a bunch of girls going to college with me next year have them.  It's cool but I don't completely understand it all so I am still going to keep this blog going because it is so much simpler.  So as part of getting ready for college and being more independent blah, blah,  I have spent this past week and now this week alone/ with my best friend Amanda.  I feel so much more grown up now.  I've worked, gone to the bank, gotten the mail, mown the lawn, watered the plants, went grocery shopping, cooked, and I just did laundry for the first time (nothing was ruined).  So college will be a piece of cake :)  I can't believe it is only like a month-ish away.  I've cried several times the past few days thinking I'm going to be leaving.  But everyone has to leave the nest sometime.  It is hard being the first one of the family but I know college will bring so many new and exciting experiences, I can't wait!
